Activities

Jemby-Rinjah Lodge is just a few minutes walk away from many scenic bushwalks and lookouts. Blackheath's own Grand Canyon is a challenging yet rewarding walk through rainforest glens and along towering escarpments. This would have to be one of the best walks in the mountains. The Grose Valley with its sublime views and forever changing colours is always impressive no matter what time of day.

The historic village of Blackheath is just a short drive away and attractions including the Three Sisters, Mt Wilson and Jenolan Caves are all within a short driving distance.

There are many local festivals and events, galleries, artist studios, speciality shops and attractions to visit. For the more adventurous, rock climbing, abseiling, caving canyoning and specialist 4wd tours can be organised.

Activities available include:

  • Daily bird feeding. A must for our overseas guests, and a great photo oportunity.
  • Golf at our "local" - Blackheath Golf Course
  • Tennis, lawn bowls and other sports, available in Blackheath
  • Guided bushwalks and special programs suitable for all ages with the National Parks & Wildlife Service
  • Activities for children including possum prowls and walks
  • Abseiling, rock climbing and canyoning
  • Horse riding in the Megalong Valley
  • 4WD tours with local guides
